Ben enseigne depuis une vingtaine d'années, d'abord au Japon puis en Italie, avec des passages dans des écoles de langues à Londres. C'est un enseignant passionné qui donne tout de lui-même pour faire de sa classe le scénario idéal pour apprendre l'anglais. Ben est un enseignant certifié CELTA.

I am a CELTA trainer and DELTA qualified teacher. I have taught university pathway programmes, focusing on EAP, international relations and economics. I love meeting English students from around the world and helping them make the best choices for university as our university counsellor. I have taught in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and the UK.
I have been teaching English for over twenty years. Before I was an English teacher, I worked at the BBC making documentaries. I spent many years teaching in a secondary school in the UK, preparing students for university and specialising in English for Academic Purposes. I am also a university counsellor and can help students with their university choices.
I have been teaching English for several years as far afield as China. As an actor, I love to bring in my acting knowledge to build students’ confidence in speaking. I like creating an inclusive learning community in my class.
I see teaching as a creative career – I am also a guitarist and worked as a BBC cameraman, so I love bringing creative energy into the classroom. I have taught around the world, from Southeast Asia to South America.
With more than twenty years’ experience, I have taught every type of lesson – Business English, EAP, IELTS, legal, etc. My focus is seeing English as a way to share our stories and adjusting my classes to meet the personalities of the students in the class.
