Our Approach to Teaching

Learning English is more than just studying grammar rules or learning new words. It’s about using English to speak, understand, read, and write with confidence.

Challenge
You improve when you try something new. Your teacher will give you tasks that are a little difficult, but possible. This helps you grow step by step.
Learner Focus
Every student is different. You have your own background, needs, and goals. Your teacher will help you feel safe to speak and practise, even if you make mistakes. Mistakes are part of learning!
Visible Learning – We want you to know what you are learning and why. Understanding how your activities in class connect to using English in the real world helps you learn better and progress faster.

As lifelong learners, our teachers bring their passion for learning to the classroom, whether they are learning a new language or the latest pedagogy. Our dedicated teaching team have taught in countries around the world, including Spain, China, Vietnam, Germany, Russia, the UAE, and Italy, among others.

ライアン

ライアンは20年以上の教育経験を持ち、台湾、スペイン、ロンドンで教鞭をとってきました。アカデミックマネージャーとCELTAトレーナー認定者として、ティーチングチームを組織し、生徒の英語コミュニケーションスキル全般の向上を支援している。

ベン

ベンは20年近く教えており、最初は日本、次にイタリアで、その後ロンドンの語学学校でも教えていました。教室を英語学習のための理想的なシナリオにするために、全身全霊を注ぐ情熱的な教師である。CELTA認定講師。

ミシェル

イギリス出身のCELTA認定講師ミッシェルは、オンライン英会話で世界中の生徒に英語を教えた経験があり、8年間のマーケティングキャリアを持っています。異なる文化に触れることが好きで、クラスには熱心なエネルギーが溢れています。

Taghrid

I am a CELTA trainer and DELTA qualified teacher. I have taught university pathway programmes, focusing on EAP, international relations and economics. I love meeting English students from around the world and helping them make the best choices for university as our university counsellor. I have taught in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and the UK.

Crispin

I have been teaching English for over twenty years. Before I was an English teacher, I worked at the BBC making documentaries. I spent many years teaching in a secondary school in the UK, preparing students for university and specialising in English for Academic Purposes. I am also a university counsellor and can help students with their university choices.

Alice

I have been teaching English for several years as far afield as China. As an actor, I love to bring in my acting knowledge to build students’ confidence in speaking. I like creating an inclusive learning community in my class.

Eric

I see teaching as a creative career – I am also a guitarist and worked as a BBC cameraman, so I love bringing creative energy into the classroom. I have taught around the world, from Southeast Asia to South America.

Adrian

With more than twenty years’ experience, I have taught every type of lesson – Business English, EAP, IELTS, legal, etc. My focus is seeing English as a way to share our stories and adjusting my classes to meet the personalities of the students in the class.

Amelie

I have been teaching English for four years and I enjoy creating an engaging learning environment. My goal is to help students express themselves with confidence. I encourage communication, curiosity, and creativity.

Yanique

I have taught English in many countries around the world, such as China, the UAE, and Germany, to name a few. I enjoy teaching young learners and adults, and experimenting with different types of materials.

Supporting Quality Teaching

We believe great teaching comes from reflection and feedback. Every six weeks, our teachers receive evaluations to help them grow and maintain high standards. We also listen carefully to our students’ feedback so we can keep improving and make every class even better.
